Institutional library at IWWCopyright: © IWW
Our institutional library is situated on the second floor of our institute building at Mies-van-der-Rohe-Straße 17. With over 15,000 works of specialist literature, you will find comprehensive and up-to-date information on all aspects of hydraulic engineering, coastal engineering, river engineering, hydrology, sediment transport, hydropower and water supply. In addition to standard works in the above-mentioned fields, current issues of journals such as WasserWirtschaft and the Journal of Hydraulic Research are also available.
You can also borrow all volumes of our publication series "Mitteilungen des Lehrstuhl und Instituts für Wasserbau und Wasserwirtschaft der RWTH Aachen University". The conference proceedings of the symposium (IWASA) organized by the institute and selected dissertations of IWW staff members are published here. The publication of this series is supported by the Friends association of the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management at RWTH Aachen.
- Literature can be searched for via KatalogPlus of the University Library https://index.ub.rwth-aachen.de/TouchPointClient_touchpoint/start.do?View=sunrise&Language=de&BaseURL=this&Branch=0
- The literature found must have the shelfmark "222:..." (to be found in the tab: Exemplare), otherwise it will not be found here!
- Please send an email to email@example.com with a list of the literature you are looking for (including the shelfmark!) and ask for an appointment during opening hours.
Every year the IWW publishes an annual report in which the activities of the previous year are reported. Here you will find up-to-date information on the IWW's staff, research activities and teaching.
